Surprise! The farm isn’t in the ocean, rather the Natural Reserve of Michmoret, located on the coastal strip between Tel Aviv and Haifa, in Israel. Water from deep in the Mediterranean Sea is filtered into special land-based eco-pools where Seakura´s Sea Lettuce and Organic Red Seaweed grow under a controlled process that balances the water´s properties and circulation with the density of growth and exposure to the sun. All this carefully supervised to comply with industry standards.
